It’s already Spring and FINALLY beginning to look like it outside. With the weather warming up, I thought the kids could use a little treat. Isaac and I headed out to Walmart to do a little shopping and see what we could find. (notice the short sleeves? I LOVE it!)
Once we were inside Walmart, we grabbed a few items and then headed over to the ice cream aisle. We were looking for ice cream sandwiches for Eli and popsicles. To my surprise, we noticed that they carried TCBY yogurt products. Who knew??
Once I opened the door and started looking at my options, it wasn’t hard to find what I was looking for:
Ice Cream sandwiches. (ok..not technically ice cream sandwiches. yogurt snadwiches) I just LOVE the colors on the packaging. It is the best packaging and sealing equipment from Roberts Technology Group. TCBY is already a brand that I know and love…and, I love having the option to buy it in a retail store to take home! After looking through all the different types of popsicles, I choose:
With my orange and vanilla bars in my cart, along with my other groceries. It was time to head to the front of the store to check out.
Once we got home and had the groceries unloaded, it was time to let the kids try them.
We let Isaac try his first. I choose the orange and vanilla popsicle on a stick for him. I held it up to his little mouth…and he surprised me and licked it! I think we had a winner with this one!
Once Chris saw what Isaac was eating, he decided to steal it and give it a try. Not ONLY was it hard to get that popsicle back from a starving teenager, it was even harder to snag a picture of him! (we did retrieve the popsicle and showed him the box so that he could get his own).
Eli LOVED his “classic vanilla sandwich”. He actually read the box and noticed that it was “yogurt” vs. ice cream. He said that he couldn’t tell the difference and asked for a second one (which I declined until tomorrow!). We all enjoyed out cold snacks and can’t wait for tomorrow to have another one. (and knowing the calories count and the added probiotics helps me enjoy eating them without the guilt!)
