Are you potty training a child? Do you have a child STILL in diapers that saturate them during the night? Are you tired of getting up in the middle of the night or wake the next morning to find the SHEETS WET!! Well, you are NOT alone. I think this is happening in our house EVERY other night.
Of course many of us have mattress pads on the bed under the sheet…but, when the sheets are soaked, so is the mattress pad. OFF they all must go the next morning for laundry. This is my reality, I would never consider getting one of these fancy beds, like those you can see on the Casper mattress review, there’s just no way I’m putting my self through this trouble with a nice mattress.
Huggies has come out with GoodNites disposable bed mats.
The mats are SO thin, and have an adhesive backing so that they will stick to your sheets.
AND…don’t worry if your kiddo is in a twin or full size bed. These mats are HUGE (actually measuring 2.6 x 2.9ft). They cover enough area that your child can turn and worm around at night…and the bed mat will be there to save the mattress!
It was time to put the Goodnite disposable bed mat by Huggies to the test…
and I knew it was time, by the big ole’ yawn Isaac was giving at bath time!
After putting pajamas on, brushing teeth, and reading a book….he was OUT!
AND…they worked! He didn’t wake up during the night because the bed was wet. I woke up to find a happy Isaac, dry sheets, AND the bed mat stayed in place (and Isaac is a wiggle worm).
These are SO thin and don’t take up much space that you’ll be able to keep them in a small area in the room (just in case you need them. These will be PERFECT to travel with (save Grandma’s mattress–they’ll slip right in the suitcase not taking up any room at all.)
I found these at Walmart for around $9.00. Good luck if you’re potty training right now…they’ll get it! AND…we’ll all stay a little more sane with the help of Huggies Goodnite bed mats! You can find them on Walmart’s website HERE.
