Reading the Old Testament in 90 Days

As part of getting my family “back on track” and preparing our teenager for entering adulthood (GULP)….we’ve decided to start by tackling the scriptures in 90 day increments.  In our old ward in Las Vegas, we were given this challenge by our Relief Society to read the Book of Mormon in 90 days…and has diligent as I had to be to keep up…it was such an inspiring revelation in my testimony of the Book of Mormon.  As I think daily how to raise my family and to bring up awesome young men…I need to remember that I’m also raising future missionaries.  I need to make sure that they are comfortable with the scriptures, understand them…and help them to gain their own testimonies of each book.

WHEW…that’s a LOT of pressure for a mom.

SO…the boys are willing…let’s GET IT ON!

Join us if you’re UP for the CHALLENGE!  Our family is going to start on Thursday, July 14, 2011. (and we should finish up….90 days from that.  I’ll get back to you on that date….(I need to add it up).

Old Testament

(I got this plan from HERE.  Thanks for typing it all out!)  There are many other plans out on the internet.  If you need to take longer than 90 days…if you’d rather read another book first.  There are SO many options.  OR…you can just wing it!
