With winter FINALLY descending upon us…life in Reno is AWESOME!  I love the snow that comes and goes, the sunny sky, and meeting new people.  What isn’t cool is the dry skin that comes with winter weather living in the desert.

(ok..yes, Isaac is eating a duck…but, also notice the rosy red cheeks!)

On a recent shopping trip to Walmart, we were able to attend an in-store demo to try all the varieties of lotions available.

If we have a coupon…we’re trying that product.  Since our move to Reno, I’ve already discovered Dial™ Nutriskin™ lotion.  They have a variety of options to choose from:

  • Dry Skin with True Aloe
  • Extra Dry Skin (my favorite)
  • Smoothing with Camomile
  • Ultrahydrating for Men
When you’re  in Walmart, you have SO many options of lotions to choose from.  IF you haven’t given Dial™ Nutriskin™ a try yet, I’d urge you to.  (and…there was a coupon in this past Sunday’s paper as an incentive!)
It sure did help to have the in-store demo in Walmart to let me test a few of the lotions that I had yet to try.
Joe (my hubby) uses the Ultrahydrating for his bald head (he shaves it multiple times a week).  It’s PERFECT for him!  With his sensitive skin as well as the damage constant shaving does to his head…this ultrahydrating lotion keeps his head from peeling and flaking because it’s so dry here.
For Sir Isaac’s rosy cheeks and eczema arms and legs, I LOVE using this lotion.  I’ve been using the Extra Dry Skin, but I did buy the Sensitive Skin to try next.
As for me…I LOVE the Extra Dry Skin.  My scaly-looking hands and legs have smoothed right out….and I couldn’t be happier (ok, Joe probably is a little happier:)  The scent isn’t over powering, just slight enough to make you smile.  (I can’t wear strong scented lotions because Joe is allergic to EVERYTHING…so, that’s how faint the smell is.)
