Three boys, one dog, one chinchilla…Sometimes, you just have to STOP…and Count To Ten.

Do you recall my recent trip to Kmart, where I purchased outdoor decorations?  Well, I was TOTALLY fortunate enough to receive a holiday Trim Kit from Kmart to decorate SOMEONE ELSE’S tree!  The kit that we received, was the Velvet Visions Kit…and it was SO beautiful.  Purple and green with a splash of red was the color scheme.

These are just a few of the ornaments that came in the kit.  If you’d like to see the entire collection, just click HERE to visit Kmart’s Holiday Shop.

Now…with all these goodies…WHO do I give them to???  That didn’t take me long at all!  I’ve told you about my Isaac, the one with special needs.  Well, he goes to a school in Reno, NV called Picollo.  It’s a school for pre-school aged kiddos all the way up to 21 with physical disabilities.  I couldn’t think of a more deserving place to give all these wonderful decorations.

Isaac’s class if full of walkers, wheel chairs, and standers…but, it didn’t have a Christmas tree.

Well, I think brought a tree that I bought from Kmart and my trim kit…and it was time to start decorating.

It didn’t take very long before we went from a bare tree with a few ribbons of it:

Slowly…I added decorations while the teachers worked with the students.

I LOVE how this purple POPS!  Look at the balls, the horns, the shoes…oh my!

Before long…the tree was decorated…and Isaac found a book and was sitting right beside it!

It was such a wonderful feeling to be able to donate these items to such a wonderful school.   The teachers and the kids couldn’t have been more excited to receive it!

By the next day…they had added presents under the tree.

We had a blast…and I hope the kids will enjoy the lights and feeling all the different textures of the ornaments.
