Sharing how we’re loving life and living it to the fullest!
Three boys, one dog, one chinchilla…Sometimes, you just have to STOP…and Count To Ten.
The flowers are TOO beautiful, the sky is too blue, the temperature is TOO hot…..to think about BACK TO SCHOOL!! I almost peed in my pants when the boys told me that school was starting in just a few weeks! With the boys growing faster than the weeds in our yard…it’s TOTALLY time to think about shopping for a few pieces of clothing.
(yes…they keep getting cuter) But, Isaac alone has grown 4+ inches in the past six months!
So, with my über busy schedule, shopping on the internet is my MOST favorite hobby. We just got back from North Carolina and we’re in Las Vegas for a few weeks…by the time we get back to Reno, school will be ready to start! HOLY Batman!
I’m on the mailing list for CookiesKids, and thought I’d check them out and see what they had on sale.
That’s exactly what I saw! A clearance section to knock your socks right off!
I searched and searched and started filling my shopping cart. NOW, I was ONLY going to spend $30, but I went a little over (ok, more like almost $30 per kid) BUT, wait until you see what I got!
That would be handsome Eli sporting the Roadblock Wembley Shirt and Charms “Highland” belted cargo shorts (which are now sold out because they were so cool looking).
Now…you know my boys like posing for pictures.
Eli LOVED this bright green polo shirt and snazzy Swiss Cross cargo shorts. I loved how bright the color of the shirt was…and the shorts are just perfect. I LOVE being able to add virtually ANY shirt with those shorts to recreate a totally different look.
Like adding this Raider polo shirt:
I don’t know about your kids, but Eli’s 10 years old and canNOT match his clothes. SO, having basic bottoms in his closet is a MUST. Then, he can usually grab any shirt and head out the door. (there are a few rare occasions where he can still put together an outfit that looks like a 2 year old did)
Now…sweet Isaac. I was able to snag OP Striped shirt (sold out now) for only $1.99 and a pair of French toast jeans for only $4.99.
He’s not moping because he doesn’t like his clothes, he just wants my phone.
and this lovely little Kenneth Cole ensemble comes with a cute black coat! (totally necessary in the desert chilly mornings)
Have you ever used shopped on CookiesKids.com before?? I have in the past and I love them. They sell EVERYTHING under the sun that your kids could need, (even uniforms), they have fast shipment options, name brands, and an AWESOME clearance section! You can see all my pictures from my online shopping adventures HERE.
I’m going to have one good looking 5th grader and kindergartener!!!
If you haven’t tried Cookieskids.com before, check them out…
They’ve been around for years…40 to be exact. They’re actually celebrating their 40th year this year! (here’s a little background about the company:
In 1972, a young man named Cookie and his brother Marvin went into business together. They rented a 1600 square foot store in Jamaica, Queens, fixed it up, bought inventory and Summer and Fall, and opened a day after Thanksgiving with a full stock of holiday toys. The toys were a success and they put the extra money toward buying children’s clothing for the next season. When that did well, they bought more clothing. The business was on it’s way.
As the brothers Cookie, Marvin and Sonny, who had come in as a third partner in the business, began to open new stores in new locations, inventory expanded. Besides the latest fashions, our customers wanted shoes, toys, backpacks and accessories and we were prepared to deliver.
By the late 1990′s there were six superstores throughout the NYC area, and though they previously had different names, by that time they were all named Cookie’s Kids. Also in the late ’90s came an important addition to Cookie’s Kids’ inventory: school uniforms. It was the steady success in uniform sales that paved the way for founding CookiesKids.com in 2007, which originally sold uniforms and soon after the entire Cookie’s Kids Inventory.
Now…I’m still working on finishing their Back to School looks…and I was playing with Polyvore. Here’s my dream collection for both boys (they’d be so HIP!)
